My name is Omri Cohen. I’m a software engineer based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
I’ve been coding for about 7 years now, with a focus on cyber security.
For the last 4 years I’ve been working as a backend developer coding mainly in Go (90% of the time) and a touch of JavaScript.
Currently I’m working as a software engineer at Palo Alto Networks, as part of Prisma Cloud Compute (formerly known as Twistlock).
Prior to that I focused on writing low-level, RT code. Writing code mainly in C++ while working at Dalet Digital Media Systems as a part of the One Cut team (a high-end video editing software).
I hold a BSc in Communications Systems Engineering from Ben Gurion University.
